HEED 300 Online classes, On-campus orientation

An orientation to familiarize yourself with the new D2L online learning environment will be held at the the Folsom Lake College campus, in room FLC3-173, on Thursday, August 28 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

The orientation is not mandatory but is HIGHLY recommended for all online HEED 300 students as we transition from using Blackboard to the new Desire 2 Learn online learning environment.

Using D2L

To enter the new D2L learning environment please click on the link to the right.

Once there you will need to enter your student ID# in the username and your birthday in the format mmddyyyy. For example: if you were born on July 4, 1976, your default password is 07041976.

The website will not be available for students until a couple days before classes begin.

Dont worry! :) We will have time to explore and learn the website together.

HEED 300 Online and On-Ground Required Text

The required text for all sections of HEED 300 is "An Invitation to Health", 12th edition, by Dianne Hales.

This text is available in the Student Bookstore on the FLC main campus.

FITNS 401 Walking

This is a walking course designed for all fitness levels. We will be walking in different areas of Folsom. The requirements for the course (text, clothing, etc.) will be discussed on the first day of class.
